Book Signing at the Miller-Kite Museum - Sunday, June 27, 1-5 PM Former Elkton United Methodist Church minister, Robert Brookover, will be present at the Miller-Kite Museum on Sunday, June 27 from 1 to 5 PM to introduce his newly released Civil War novel "Wish is My Master - The Honor of Love". The book is based on letters, journals and family lore handed down by those who actually lived the Southern experience during the war. One quote used in the publication and book title was written Jan. 24, 1863 by Elkton native, Private Charles Kite of the 10th Virginia Infantry, stating, "I suppose you have forgotten me as you do not write anymore, but I think about you all every day and wish to be there, but wish is my master."
